I am a big fan of Google apps. If you have had the problems with windows server 2003 and 2008 then you know that if your server goes down you lose emails. The last straw for me was during the last storm when a colleague and I who we use as each others backup for our own emails both went down. Our customers were fine as they were on web servers but the office servers were another story.
Since then I have moved to google apps which allows you to use google as your incoming server, it filters all your emails and then sends them through. It has 8 backup servers and synchronises with your outlook calendars, mails and works better on your phone as well.
