In layman’s terms a SIP trunk is a virtual version of an analog telephone line. Using these SIP trunks, with a voice over internet protocol (VOIP} allows you to connect 1,2, or 30 channels to your PBX telephone exchange system. Flexibility and scalability are the important areas.
This allows you to make local, interstate and international calls using the internet.
