Jopaz

Jopaz is a great example of having a long and trusting client relationship. For 8 years we have designed and developed, evolved and changed their sweet and whimsical website. We originally started with a logo redesign and an ecommerce wholesale website and over the years have designed trade stands, tags and signage and culminating in a beautiful redesign of their current home page.

Challenges

In the beginning there was a humble website – the team from Jopaz contacted us in 2016 with a desire to beautify their original website and simplify functionality for their wholesale clients and administration. A new design was completed embracing their magical quality, being wholesalers of mythical and enchanted gifts. This new website incorporated different wholesale levels, a stockist map, wholesale registration, configuration for minimum quantity amounts, newsletter signups and an order management system.

The website was robust, built on the WordPress and Woocommerce platforms. Over the years maintenance was done with updates of plugins, WordPress, Themes and PHP to keep it running smoothly and has done so all these years with minimal issues.

Evolution

In 2022 a refresh was requested to make the homepage and banners more magical prior to attending a national expo. Our designer created a layered feature homepage banner which was then animated by the developer and that theme was continued throughout the website.

And the signage and banners were requested for the expo using the new style and colours. We were provided with a alyout of the expo stand and dimensions for the advertising banner sections. After consultation a variety of designs were created for the various sized panels and locations maximising the colours and whimsy employed on the website. These were then digitally packaged to be print ready and sent to the chosen printer where the colours jumped off the paper and entranced the crowds.
