After visiting many fine restaurants all around Joondalup we came up with the following choices for our must eat venues.
Moments Café
Located at 47 Davidson Terrace in Joondalup this café is a great spot if you are looking for a breakfast of lunch. They have a fantastic all-day breakfast menu as well as burgers, rolls and sandwiches. Plenty of vegetarian options on the menu as well as some vegan alternatives. The coffee is always fantastic and the baristas always have a great new design for you to check out. Overall this is a very welcoming café that is sure to impress.
Basq
This may be one suburb over from Joondalup at 1244 Marmion Ave in Currambine but we couldn’t make a restaurant list without including this brilliant spot. With an awesome atmosphere and helpful staff it is always a pleasure dining here. Attention to detail is always on point at Basq and you will not be disappointed if you choose the steak as they are always cooked to perfection. Possibly some of the best service you will get in Perth.
Scents of Siam
Started out of a bit of a hidden Gem but it seems that everyone is finally catching on to how great this place is. Located at 115 Grand Blvd in Joondalup it is a great night out for all with a delicious Thai menu. Plenty of vego options like the mung bean curry are a huge hit with patrons. The chefs passion for humble yet tasty food really shines through his cooking, from a traditional pad thai to a more modern take on a massaman curry. Be sure to call ahead as seating is limited.
Gurkas Nepalese Restaurant
When was the last time you ate a Nepalese dinner? If you have never tried this style of food the you are in for a surprising treat. This humble little restaurant serves up consistently great food paired with caring, knowledgeable service. Alcohol can be purchased inside from a nice selection or you may bring your own along. Do yourself a favour and pop on down here for a great meal at a great price. Located at 5 Adalia St, Joondalup.
Coco Cubano
Do yourself a favour and next time you are in Joondalup head over to Coco Cubano. They are located at 420 Joondalup Drive, Joondalup and specialise in tasty Cuban dining. Great décor and ambiance really set the mood for some fantasticly delicious food, especially if you try some of the street food options. Good size portions paired with reasonable prices leads to a busy little restaurant, especially during happy hour. Make sure you call ahead and reserve your seat.
